I have been trying to sort out the children of JOHN and CHARLES HARRYMAN, brothers who came to Washington County, Illinois near Okawville in abt 1818/19 to collect bounty land for being in the War of 1812. The children that I have for each may be mixed up. I have been trying to discover the father of my gg grandmother, Louise [Loess] Harryman, who m. Jackson Land [son of Joseph Land from St. Clair County, IL]. Ethel Harryman's book on the Harryman Family states Louise is Charles child,but I have also been told she was John's child. I have put her as John's child, but do not know if this is correct? I understand Charles Harryman had a Will and it listed his children, but I have been unable to find a copy.
