I liked Robert's idea so much that I decide to prepare a petition to take to my family reunion. I think it would be wise if all the petitions we start are worded the same. I am not suggesting that mine is perfect and if anyone else has another idea lets hear it. we can even combine several different ideas into one or whatever BUT lets start something. Here's my idea. What do you think? This is only to be signed by LEGALLY REGISTERED VOTERS OF THE COUNTY. I know this leaves us out but, I think it will carry more weight with the Courthouse. I called my Courthouse and there are no laws governing these in Illinois. Lets hear what you think. Thus, protecting them from catastrophic destruction by FIRE, TORNADO, EARTHQUAKE, or other natural or manmade destruction. Insuring that our families records will be preserved for our use and that of our descendants in the future.
