I am searching for parents of SOLOMON MITCHELL, b. 1814, St. Clair Co. IL, d. 1858 Wayne Co. Would like to also verify whether he is the same Solomon Mitchell who married Melinda Robinson in 1834, St. Clair Co. (Have a marriage certificate, but that doesn't prove that was the same Solomon Mitchell.) Think she may have died soon after the birth of WILLIAM MITCHELL abt. 1840. Can't find William after 1850. PAULINA ALEXANDER (d/o Walter and Catherine Jolliff Alexander) was the 2nd wife of Solomon and her estate settlement was in Washington Co. IL in 1864. Would lilke to know where ANY of the above may have been buried. ANYTHING about them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dot
