I am looking for parents or siblings or Lydia L. Parker. She was born 1830, IL, married Doctor James Mitchell 1856 in Washington Co. IL, according to his Civil War pension file. Lydia died 1906, Dock died 1924. Both are buried in Old Round Rock Cemetery, Round Rock, Williamson Co. TX. On the 1850 census of Washington Co. IL, p. 100a & b, District 20, August 1850, dwelling/family # 6/6 shows this. Alexander D. HAY 36, merchant, KY Malinda 35, KY Margaret B, 12, IL Daniel 10, IL Mary D. 6, IL William Shipley 20, laborer IL John Gay 30, carpenter, NY Elijah Wydich 23, stage driver, IL LYDIA PARKER 25, laborer, unknown Jas Akins 25, stage driver, IL I realize that her age is not quite right for the Lydia I seek, but if she didn't know where she was born, maybe she didn't know exactly when either---or else someone besides Lydia answered the questions about her to the census taker.
