He was born Oct. 12, 1917, in Lake Fork, the son of Simon and Flora Priddy. He married Edna J. Mick. Mr. Priddy was a master mechanic and operating engineer for Calhoun County Contractor Co. in Springfield. He was a member of First Christian Church and the International Union of Operating Engineers, both in Springfield. Survivors: wife, Edna J.; a son, Carl Edwin of Springfield; a stepson, Robert Evilsizer of MacClenny, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Judy Patterson of Pensacola, Fla., and Brenda Monti of Coella; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marjorie Doom of Lincoln and Ruby Turner of Springfield.
