I was real excited as my grandfather Samuel Markham was a volunteer fireman in Nashville and drove a white fire engine but I don't know the time frame and I couldn't recognize him in the photo. (His dates are 1871 to 1950.) And I think it was pulled by horses. I think you have encouraged me to research this further. Thanks. :) Ava
