Hi All: Marci brought up a good point about the mail list and who owns it. It is only hosted on the RootsWeb server (many thanks to them) and they do not own it. If they did they could pay me for hundreds of hours of my time. All the hours and dollars and frustration to provide it for all you great people for your research is put out by me. If I decided I didn't want the mail list any longer I could give it to one of you, and it would be YOUR mail list and not MINE. You could make the rules and policies. It is not part of the Washington County Web Page. A general internet rule I thought you all knew: NEVER REPLY TO SPAM OR CRUDE EMAIL REPORT THE PERSON TO YOUR LIST ADMINISTRATOR (so I can block them) If you would really like to take that person on, use their address not the mail list. (no point in that, no one would get to see all the action) I would not give the person the satisfaction of a reply. Rules are for people who break them, right now it's 4:30 AM and I'd like to go to bed and dream about looking after our mail list and getting back to research. Robert J.
