Hi gang, my thanks also to Robert for all the fine work. Keep it up, I am very thankful for this mail list. I feel that I am somehow closer or at least a possibility of getting info on my family, so I do appreciate the countless hours you have put into this thing Robert. Marci I appreciate all your hard work also. Washington County needs more folks like you, just getting at them and making things happen for Washington county. Robert told me I should let everyone know who I am looking for, so below is what I sent to Robert to post on the web site. Since I am not sure what to send, if anyone has a question, please ask. I do travel, usually, several days of each week so I am not always able to answer until I come back here. I do not travel with a computer, just a camera, pen, pencil, paper, tape recorder, therefore I only answer while at this location. Thanks to everyone again. Could each of you send me who you are working on. I have much research and maybe while here I could find something for someone. Shirley White Researching - John D. Richards, born 10-16-1850 in South Carolina, married Louisa Susan Woodside born 01-05-1852 in Illinois, married on 26 Nov 1871 in Washington or Perry County, I have 2 records saying they married in each county. Their children were - Amanda Jane Richards, born on 06-29-1873 in Illinois, married a Scott, they also moved to Ranger and Abilene, TX. John Calvin Richards, born 07-29-1876 in Illinois. This is all I know about this man, have not been able to find anything else. James Wesley Richards born 1879, in Illinois. Again, nothing else know about him. William Benjamin Richards born 05-07-1881 in Becaup, Ill. I found this line living in Texas, scattered from Odessa to Dallas, TX. I found a cousin living in Californian named Gwinda Horton, a direct descendent of this line and she has filled me in on all these folks. Walter Sanford Richards born in Quincy, Ill on 03-03-1883. The family moved to Texas where Walter moved to Louisiana and married my grandmother - April Gearen (some spell it Guerin). Since this is my line, most of the descendents live in South Louisiana. Edgar Ney Richards - I know absolutely nothing about him, he might have been born in Oklahoma I think, but have not found the record as yet. Harvey Leonard Richards born 1886 in Nebraska or Oklahoma. I found a relative of this man and he is not sure which state they were born in, so I am going to dig up the census records and find out for myself. Charles Elmer Richards born 03-29-1889, I also know nothing about him or his line. Frank Daniel Richards born 1891, I know nothing about him either. On Louisa Susan Woodside line, she was born in Illinois, raised in Illinois. I found her on the 1870 Washington County Census living with her father and mother. Her father was James Woodside, born in Kentucky, moved to Illinois, married Sarah Jane (?), born in Tenn according to 1850 Census of Perry County Illinois. -----Original Message----- From: Robert J.
