Well, time anyway. :-) Right now our family is --again-- trying to figure out that Rosenbeck line that seems to present such a wall. Our ancestress Catherine, b. 3 Mar 1839, married Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Brandt in St. Louis in 1857. We believe Heinrich on the 1870 census to be her brother. We beleive her father's name was also likely Heinrich and that she had at least one sister named Gertrude. We believe the country or origin is Germany. That's about all we have right now. Passenger lists have not yielded anything so far.
