Livesay are listed among a few others to be the earliest settlers in Richview Precinct in about 1833. Most of the early settlers came from Tennessee. Old Richview was laid out in 1839 by William B. Livesay and was formerly called Richmond. Other additions were added to this town. Two of them by J.M Livesay and L.D. Livesay. Since it seems these were the only Livesay settlers, it is probably that they were the father or grandfather of your Thomas Livesay.
