I made an unplanned (and unprepared - LOL) visit to the National Archives in Washington, D. C. yesterday (one of the perks of living on the East Coast.) I looked up the Washington County 1930 census and made copies of the first three pages of NASHVILLE because for a change MY folks were on the first page!!! So anyone interested in the following people email me and I will be happy to give you information on them. The 1930 census gives the EXACT address...(at least on the town...Beaucoup didn't), the year of the FIRST marriage, and job and type of place of work....and for once Washington County is READABLE! Ava :) These are people who live on or near Goodner Street in Nashville...1930.
