Her parents and brother lived in Washington County. They immigrated to America from Isensee or Cuxhaven, Hannover, near Hamburg, Germany, probably around 1883. I believe her father's name was Claus Christian AHLF, born about 1816 in Isensee or Cuxhaven Germany, died in Nashville, Illinois. I do not know when he died. Her mother's name was Katharina/Catharina Maria (nee RICHTER or RICHTERS) AHLF, born about 1832 in Cuxhaven or Isensee Germany, died 26 September 1918 in Nashville, Illinois. I do not know if it was in Nashville Township or Nashville the town. Her brother's name was George AHLF. I understand he also died in Nashville, Illinois, probably 27 September 1935. His wife was Mary Meier. George was a merchant in Nashville, Illinois. Their children were William Oscar AHLF, born 1885 in Nashville, IL Henry Palmer AHLF, born c 1890 Walter George AHLF, born 1890 Mary Viola AHLF, born 1892 Olga Theresa AHLF, born 1898 in Nashville, IL Elmer George AHLF, born 1904 in Nashville, IL I am very interested in finding information on my great-grandmother's family.
