Family tradition has it that my gggrandfather Klaus/Claus/Christian AHLF died in Nashville, Washington County. I know that both my great-grandmother Elise AHLF MILLER and her brother George AHLF lived in Nashville, but would love to find my great-great grandparents. Does anyone have access to a pre-1916 Illinois death index? I would love to know if there is an entry for Klaus/Claus/Christian AHLF in Washington County, Illinois. I did not find him on the 1900 census, so he may have died between 1880 and 1900. Another question. George AHLF was buried in the "Evangelical" Cemetery (Lutheran) in Nashville, Washington County. Does anyone have any ideas where that was located or if there is any way to access those cemetery records? Thank you so much for your patience!
