    3. I am very interested in the information that you may have. My great-grandfather's brother Johan Greimann married Mary Brink. They had 2 children John and Lillie, he died and she re-married George Cohlmeyer. They had 2 children Cecil and Robert. I am curious if there is a connection with the Cohlmeyer family you mentioned. 3. I would like to make contact with descendants of siblings and cousins of my greatgrandparents, Heinrich Wilhelm August "Henry" STEFFEN (29 Feb 1856--28 Feb 1931) and Charlotte Caroline Christine "Lottie" STEFFEN (nee ROECKEMANN) (6 Feb 1862--11 Feb 1897). Both were born in Hahlen, Hartum Parish, Kreis Minden, Westphalia, Prussia, and emigrated to Irvington Twp., Washington County in 1892. Some of their siblings and cousins are known to have settled in Washington and Clinton counties, as well as St. Louis, MO. Some known surnames in these family lines include: STEFFEN, ROECKEMAN/ROCKEMAN, STAES/STAAS, WEBER, KOENEMANN, FREDERKING, SCHLOTMANN, DROEGE/DROGE, SCHNITKER, BEERMANN, and others. I would also be interested in hearing from anyone whose family came from Hahlen or the other villages of Hartum Parish (Hartum, Nordhemmern, Holzhausen) west of Minden, Germany. 3. Hi All, I am also interested in Elihu WILLIAMS and Elvira STRAIT's children. The older ones are listed in the 1850 census in Washington Co., IL. I believe that James R. WILLIAMS in the 1850 census is my Great-Grandfather. "Riley WILLIAMS" married Rebecca ATCHISON in Dec. 1866. I believe the two are the same. My James Riley WILLIAMS claimed to have brothers: Amos, Willis, and Preston. Does any one claim Willis? It was said that Preston help raise two KINYON children, after his sister, their mother, died. Does any one claim them? I tried to find Elihu WILLIAMS on the 1860 census without success; but some of the writing was too light to read. We have questions about Elihu on the 1870 census. James WILLIAMS and wife Rebecca are on the 1880 census, with the "correct" children. I didn't see Elihu. Did he die in Washington Co., IL. between 1870 and 1880?
