Darla, You asked about McVICKER in Vermillion County, IL. My Grandmother Dorothy McVICKER was born in Hoopston, IL July 15, 1911. She had 5 brothers and sisters. Their names are Opal, Chuck, Marguarite, Duey, & Mary. On March 31, 1930 she married Kenneth COLLINS (b. April 8, 1906). They had 3 children Elizabeth (1928), Richard (1930), & Lloyd (1933). Dorothy's parents were Ora McVICKER (1889) & Eva CHRISTENSEN (b.Paxton, IL 1889). I have a letter out to my Uncle Mack (Duey). He is one of my Grandmother's brothers and I am hoping he can enlighten me on their parents. If you think we have something in common please let me know.
