Someone posted the Cotton family info for me. I thought I recognized the name of Isaac Cotton. I am wondering if he is the father of John Henry Cotton, the ancestor I am searching for information about. I know for sure that John Henry is the great grandfather of my husband. Since Isaac and John Henry both have been in Vermilion Co. and in Saline County, makes it a pretty good guess that they are related. I will finally get there. Charlie's grandmother died young leaving 3 small children to be raised by an aunt. That same aunt had raised his grandmother and her siblings because their mother had died young. Isn't that tragic! It also has hindered us in finding information. I will post it for you if I find any information about Isaac and his wife. I have written to IRAD to see if I can get birth and parental information about John Henry and William Edgar, Charlie's grandfather. Thanks for asking.
