    1. [ILVERMIL-L] Records in Danville and Hoopston
    2. I am planning a trip to the Danville area in the next couple of weeks. It is over 100 miles away and I don't have a lot of time. I would like to be as organized as possible to make the best use of my time. My father was born in Hoopston in 1930. My Grandfather was born in East Lynn in 1906 and my Grandmother was born in Hoopston in 1911. I have a GGrandmother born in Paxton in 1889, the other great grandparents I have very little information about. I will be looking for vital records and also visiting cemetaries. I will be taking pictures of the area also. Any help on places to visit, and places not to miss will be greatly appreciated. I have not been to this area in many years. When I was a child there was an annual family reunion (The Collins, Christensen, McVicker I believe it was called) that we went to but, of course, I was not interested in genealogy then and did not spend much time with the older reletives. I do remember my Dad had a cousin who was deaf. I also remember an Aunt Lucille, Uncle Spencer. Thank you for any help in making my trip more successful. Shari
