My father and his ancestors were also there at the same time as yours.. my father was born in Danville in 1935; his name is Wendall Smith, and his father's name was Thomas Patrick Smith; his father's name was Charles Smith; and his father's name was Thomas Smith. Thomas was from England; and Charles lived in New York; but Thomas Patrick and my father were from Danville. They had a farm. I haven't been there since I was a child; so can't tell you what to see.
