My John Johnson married Susan Goodner, daughter of John and Margaret Swisher Goodner 27 Dec. 1848. John Goodner and his family were in Vermilion County, IL when he died about 1829-31. Henry's father was John Goodner and Margaret Swisher. Henry was a brother to my great great grandmother. Your Sara Ann Goodner, daughter of Jacob Goodner and Hester White. Hester was the first wife of Jacob, son of Peter and Mary Goodner. Jacob was born about 1776-1839. 2nd wife was Mary Ann Harwood, 3rd was Mr.s Zilpah Laforce. This is according to the Goodner Book Vol I. Also according to the book, Jacob moved to Switzerland Co., IN 1815 or 1816. Jacob apparently died in Switzerland Co., IN in the later part of 1839. His third wife remarried April 30, 1840 to Dana Jacobs, still Switzerland Co., IN. I haven't read far enough to tell you when they came to Illinois. Carol Hicks
