Seeking further information on the family of Evan Morgan and wife Elizabeth Burke. Evan Morgan was born 11 Jan 1806 in Monongalia Co., W. Vir. He married in Vermilion co., ILL in 1829. In the fall of 1837 he moved to Sugar Creek, Benton Co., Arkansas. His children born in ILL. were Sarah b. 1829, James Evan b. 1830, William b. 1831/1833, Lafayette b. 1832/1835, Nancy Ann b. 1836, David b. 1839. Then in Benton Co., Ark. there was Lucinda b. 1840/1841, John b. 1842, Melinda b. 1843, Evan J. B. 1844, and Cass Morgan b. 1848. Evan Morgan apparently died in Benton Co., in 1849.
