Hello: I am searching for Howell Davis who accompanied his brother Gideon C. Davis from Bucks Co. PA to Vermillion Co. IL, around 1856. I have found him in the 1870 US Census listing in Grant Twp. At that time Howell was 33 yrs. with family. I would like to know if he is mentioned in a history of the area, and if there are any others who are searching this particular Davis branch.
