Hello Fellow Rooters, My ancestor Thomas CAMPBELL came from OH bought 40 acres of land in Pellsville Vermilion Cty. He was born 1828 OHIO died approx 1913-1914 Vermilion County, IL. He gave an acre of land to the township which is the old cemetery now. I was told he was one of the first or nearly so to settle in Pellsville. He married Elizabeth Shriver who also came from OHIO and was born in 1838 OHIO. They moved to Rankin in 1900 and are supposed to be buried in the Rankin Cemetery. They had a daughter Sarah (Sadie) Campbell who married my great- grandfather Clarence Mathew or Mathew Clarence Yeazel in 1890 in Pellsville on the 40 acres 2 miles west of Rankin. I have checked the Rankin Union Cemetery and they are not buried there. Would like to hear from anyone that has any kind of information. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
