Edgar Cotton lived in Saline County, IL and I have searched hard there for a birth record. Now I find that he was born in Danville, Vermilion Co, IL. Would someone look up the birth record for me? I have also found that his real name is WILLIAM EDGAR COTTON. His parents were John Henry and Milley (or Mary) Ellen Jones Cotton. He was born 6 Oct. 1868.
