>From Greg Smith: Could your Jesse H. Wilson be related to George Washington Wilson, father of Texanna "Anna" Wilson-Vliet? Here is the information I have on my Wilsons. Jesse H. Wilson and his Elizabeth Stump came in 1852 with other Stump families. So check the dates you need to correspond to to my relatives and dates. Any fits? There are two different Stump families at least in Vermilion Co. Mine came from WV in 1852 and you can see from the census what their names were. I have tracked them back to Hardy Co, WV. The other Stumps came from KY as far as they can tell so far and if you want to talk to that side try-Carol Campbell at campsite@csi.com Haven't heard of a West connection on our side yet. Will keep you in mind. I just got some marriage information also about my Stumps. There is one Jacob Stump from Vermilion Co, IL that I can't place yet in this group. "Did you know there is a STUMP Cemetery in Pilot Township? It is located one mile north and about 1/4 mile east of the Newtown Consolidated School." I got this information from Joyce Putman/Rice.
