    3. Im searching for more information on my GGGG-grandfather, John B. Cline, who was a potter and made trips selling his pottery as far south as the Sangamon River, IL and as far north as Wisconsin. Can any one offer suggestions on where I might find out more about his pottery? I know the location of his land in Blount Township, but no buildings remain from the 1800's there. The basics that I do know: John B. CLINE, born about 1790 (probably in PA according to the 1850 census, or possibly in VA) died 1856, Vermilion County, IL married 1811 in Harrison County, KY to Catherine SHOEMAKER/SHUMATE, born about 1795, Faquier Co., VA died 1878, Vermilion County, IL They had 13 children born in Kentucky, then moved their young family to Blount Township in Vermilion Co., IL in 1830. The children were named Spencer, Andrew, Nathaniel, Lizean, Sussannah, Merrica, Sarah, Mandy, Mary, William, John, Catherine, and Leusinda. I have information on their spouses and most of their children if anyone is interested. Thank you. Linda Hedges linda.hedges@ssec.wisc.edu
