    3. Hi all, If anyone has the ways and means to check the 1860 Vermilion Co, IL, census for the following family/. I (way down here in rural Florida) would surely appreciate it!!!!!!! Alfred SLUSHER age abt 53 wife: Nancy SLUSHER age about 47 son: Alfred Eljah SLUSHER age about 18 son: James L. SLUSHER age about 15 dau: Mary Elizabeth SLUSHER age about 12 dau: Susan Rebecca SLUSHER age about 9 dau: Amelia Ellen SLUSHER age about 4 Family bible records indicate the the wife, my GGGGM. Nancy Ann SKIDMORE SLUSHER died in Vermilion Co on Sep 18, 1862, and the little dau Amelia Ellen SLUSHER is beleived to have died in Vermilion Co on Feb 22, 1863 (at age 7 and just 6 months after her mother died). The family was in Hardy County Va/WVa in 1850 and am hoping to find them in Vermilion County, IL, by the 1860 Census as they are not in the 1860 Hardy Co, Census, Know they went to Vermilion Co sometime between 1856 and Sep 1862. Family poss in "Bluegrass(?)" or "Middlefork Twp(?). Son Alfred Elijah SLUSHER is known to have joined the 51st Illinois Infantry in 1863. Where was the family in 1860?? Any help greatly appreciated. Rgards and thank, Otis (Slusher) in Florida
