First of all, there is more data available on the ancestry of Hannah Surface. This line traces back to VA and then to Germany. Hannah and George Washington Stump had 11 children, ten of whom were raised in Vermilion County, IL. They included a set of twin girls and a set of twin boys. The twin girls were Edith and Ethel whom you have listed. Edith was married to Abe Hamilton on 19 Sep 1906 and was the mother of Paul Franklin Hamilton, born 15 Nov 1917, the youngest of their five children. Their other children were: Esther Lucille; Kenneth; Orval; and Lyle. Edith died 31 Jan 1920. Her twin sister Ethel was married to Lovell Hamilton, brother of Abe, on 27 Apr 1910. They had six children: Maxine and Maxwell, twins; George Marion; Mary Louise;and Doris and Dorothy, twins. The wife of Harry L. Stump was Syble Dell Hower.
