Yes they are the same, and it is also called Blakeney's Cemetery You can check papemortuary.com and this site has all the cemeteries of vermilion co and some surrounding counties. Also Illinois State Genealogical Society - Home Page It depends on where they lived in Edgar County .they could have crossed over to Vermilion Co. If someone died in 1824 is its highly unlikely that a tombstone now exists unless family members replaced it. Sometime they only used field stones to mark the grave without any inscription on it. Other tombstones were made of sandstone and deteriorated fast. Edgar County has not read all their cemeteries and are still trying to locate them. THey do not have their burials available at their Library. All the known burials of Vermilion County are available at IGHS and Danville Library. The IGHS has now put them on a CD which I believe is selling for $30 versus $75 for the book. Good Luck Granny
