I did develolp a kind of theory about Birdie, to the effect that she was in Reuben's house because her mother had died in childbirth and an aunt and uncle were tapped to care for her. I never knew of other siblings of course. I looked for Birdie in 1910, but never could find what happened to her as Reuben died in 1904 and Anna in 1908. When I couldn't find her in 1920 I guessed that she had married. It will be interesting to hear what you can tell me. John Golladay, my grandfather, husband of Rosetta, disappeared. Aside from a picture or two and one of his son, Wallace, who died young, I have little on him but the census reference to being born in Ohio.
