Hi Velda, If no one on the list has immediate access to Vermilion County obits, I would suggest you get in touch with the Danville Public Library. They have Vermilion County/ Danville newspapers on microfilm from 1833 to present. They ask that you contact them by phone (217) 477-5228,fax (217) 477-5230, or by writing to them at Archives Department, Danville Public Library 319 N. Vermilion, Danville, IL 61832. I believe the cost is $3.00 for per request, and an SASE, which includes up to 3 microfilmed pages. They may not have much more than a death "notice" because of the year of death, but you may want to ask if they can search another 2 weeks or so afterwards for any "thank you's" from the family that might have been published.
