Though I have never had the good fortune to meet Adele or any of her family, I too have benefited from her hard work. Edward Leroy Porter, Adele's uncle, was my g-grandfather. Because of his early death and also the early death's of my grandparents, this was one of the only sources I've been able to find on this line.
