Descendants of Henry Ferguson Generation No. 1 1. Henry1 Ferguson was born Abt. 1760 in VA, and died 1825 in Grant Co, KY. Children of Henry Ferguson are: 2 i. Jane2 Ferguson, born Abt. 1787 in Ky or Tn or VA?; died April 17, 1852 in 62y w/o Ralph bur Brierly, Vermilion Co, IL. She married (1) David Lindsey in 1st marriage?; born Abt. 1787. She married (2) Ralph Martin in 2nd marriage?; born August 16, 1800; died August 24, 1876 in 76y 8d w/o Jane s/o Wm/Fanny bur Brierly, Vermilion Co, IL. Notes for Jane Ferguson: 8/16/2004 From: [email protected] Jane Ferguson is the sisterof my great great great grandfather Henry Ferguson. Henry was born in Kentucky about 1811 or 1813. Jane was born in Kentucky(or Tennessee?) Maybe Virginia in 1787. Their father was Henry Ferguson(born in Virginia about 1760 and died in Grant County Kentucky in 1825. Henry and Janes brother John Ferguson stayed in Grant County kentucky at Williamstown. Jane married David Lindsey and Later Ralph Martin. Jane, Ralph Martin , Henry Ferguson and others: Cunninghams, Makemson's, Janes son(child of David Lindsey) Left Harrison County Kentucky to go to Danville Illinois in 1828. Henry Ferguson married Asenith Blunt(Cannedy at the time), in Danville in 1837. My great great grandfather William Henry Fewrguson was born in 1840 in Danville. They all moved to Green County Wisconsin (were there in 1850) then moved to Grant County Wisconsin at Patch Grove(were ther in 1855) Asenith and Henry moved back to Danville- were there in the 1860 Census. They were still there in the 1870 census. I don't know where they are burried. If you know where they are burried, please let me know. I was in Danville last weekend and found the graves of Jane Ferguson Martin and Ralph Martin in the trees in the middle of a farmers property east of Bowmand Street. I would be interested in finding out more about my Ferguson and Blunt ancestors.
