He was married to Margaret Ellen Dunn on Feb. 22, 1866 in Alton, Franklin Co., OH. Adam Hoover and Margaret Ellen Dunn had 10 children, of which one was Jennie Elizabeth Hoover who was born Feb. 10, 1867 in Illinois.
