Meade and Mary Elizabeth Smoot Meade were the parents of Loyal Tipp Meade. Goldie Lee's parents were William and Susie Belle Grubbs Corson. Goldie Lee was born 10/7/1879 and died 1/7/1964 and is buried in a Mayview, Illinois cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Smoot Meade was born 11/1/1853 and died 12/24/1916 and is buried in Stearns Cemetery in Oakwood. Loyal and Goldie were married on 12/25/1908. I noticed in one of the censuses that a daughter Kathryn had the last name of Keller and she also had a 4 month old daughter. Kathryn and her young daughter were living with Loyal and Goldie. Kathryn was 17 years old at the time. It stated that she was married, but I saw no husband living with the family.
