Hello all, I am trying to help out my husband on his Jones'. What we have is--- WILLIAM JONES B ca 1755 maybe MD and mother is MARY------. I am trying to get Mary's last name. They had other children besides David, but my husband is descended from David. David Jones b Nov 15, 1782, MD; married Jane Ellis Jun 20, 1925 Clark Co OH; David d. Nov 1857 in Clark Co OH. Their son, JAMES H. JONES, b Jun 27, 1837 Clark Co OH; married Mary Recknor Dec 26, 1861; James d Mar 13, 1904 IL Their son GRANT U. JONES b Feb 29, 1866 Clay Co IN; Married Rosa Nees Jan 13, 1890; Grant d Oct 7, 1933 Sidell, Verm Co IL Thier son GILBERT JONES b Apr 6, 1893 Sidell, IL; Married Marie Elkins; Gilbert d Aug 19, 1950 Verm Co IL Their son RUSSELL GRANT JONES b Jul 16, 1922 Hildreth, Verm Co IL; married Marden (last name left out- still alive) Russell still alive too. Their son- LARRY RUSSELL JONES- the researcher! Is anyone out there researching this family too? Any info anyone can provide is appreciated.
