Ron, Mary Swank had a sister listed as S.J. Swank born abt 1852 in Ver,IL. I found the family listed in the 1860 census and all the children except for Mary are listed by their initials, which is discouraging! It looks like a possible connection. Do you happen to know when Mary Swank was born? Also do you know who John Waggaman's father was?
