Actually Asa Benjamin Keele was married to Jennie May Goff, bd May 1883, in Centralia. Her parents were James Alfred Goff bd Feb.1859 in Centralia and Hattie (maiden name unknown) bd March 1862 in Illinois. I found a registration card for Asa Keele where registered for the service. "Jennie May Keele" is the way she signed the card. I guess as his wife it must have been required. Their address at the time was 1005 Chandler, Danville, IL.
