Here's a link to what appeared as James William's death notice in the Danville Daily news on September 19, 1894. http://www.hittle.info/photo/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=7 And, here's a link to Mary (Jenkins) Hanley's obituary that appeared on December 26, 1898 http://www.hittle.info/photo/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=8 Note that neither notice refers to Dodson Cemetery in any way. So, since my brother and 2 of my sisters walked Dodson, and since the sexton of Dodson has contacted me, and no one can confirm that the Hanleys were buried at Dodson, I'm now guessing that whoever transcribed the database erred in both records. I also now have walked Bethel (Blount Township) and neighboring Fairchild cemeteries and have had no better luck in finding my great grandparents' graves.
