    1. RE: OLD SOLDIERS HOME
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3g.2ADI/4493.1.1 Message Board Post: I'm trying to locate the whereabouts of my ggg grandfather--William T. Craig---during the 1900 & 1910 census records. He was in Texas on the 1880 census; in an OLD SOLDIERS HOME in Little Rock, Arkansas during the 1920 census. He reported on his pension records that he arrived in ARK in 1896; but I can't find him in ARK during 1900/1910. Now, I did see a William Craig in the Danville Soldiers home and the age is correct, but the birthplace is different. That record says he was born "Ireland" and my guy is Irish, but my records are indicating birth in W. Tenn or Kentucky. I thought maybe learning more about that William Craig in Danville might be of help to me. Also, it's possible that my William Craig had ties to Illinois---I'm not sure of those ties yet, either---but I'm looking anyway.
