He was bred to the life of a farmer, and in 1831 assumed the responsibilities of a domestic life, marrying Rebecca Hessey, daughter of John and Sarah Hessey., There is more, but do not want to type all until you check this out, wife died in 1882, had ten (10) children lived in Missouri -- St. Louis then settled in Greene County, 12 yrs later they went to Scott Co., Ark, where father bought a farm. then off to LONE STAR STATE This info taken from a book that I have, printed 1889, let me know if you want more info This John lived 32 years in Vermilion Co., IL
