Sept 12, 1837 d. July 16, 1907 & James Johnson (son of Margaret Robertson & William Johnson b. May 1, 1832 (KY) d. Jun 30, 1867. He was a twin to Daniel Johnson. Their children are: Isaac Johnson b. Sept 16, 1853 d. April 16, 1919 m. Alice Belford March 2, 1876 - ford county 5 children John Barnum Johnson - Sept 14, 1855 d. Mar 26, 1924 m. Mary Jane "Jennie" Sanders - Dec 23, 1877 - Champaign County 7 children husband's great grandfather Daniel Decatur Johnson b Dec 29, 1857 d. Jan 4, 1924 m. Selinda Burgett Jan 11, 1882 - Iroquois County 10 Children Melissa Jannett "Nettie" Johnson - b April 27, 1860 Amos Albert "Albert" Johnson - b. Oct 31, 1862 Andrew Edwin "Edwin" johnson - b. Jan 29, 1865 James Alonzo "Lon or Alonzo" Johnson - b. Jan 30, 1868 m. Nancy Lytle - 3 daughters From Anna's obit: Anna Wilson was born Sept 12, 1837 near Bismarck, Vermilion County, IL. She was united in marriage to James Johnson, Nov 28, 1852, to which union seven children were born. "These are mentioned above" All living in Illinois except Nettie and Albert, who reside in Kansas. She was living at the time of Mr. Johnson's death north of Gifford, where she continued to reside until she united in marriage to Hezekiah Deck, when she removed to Alvin. Four children were born to them, namely Jessie (male) and Carrie(female) b. Nov 24, 1875(Carried died June 10, 1877) Anna May b. Jan 9, 1878 and Pearl (1880) of whom Pearl alone survives. She also reared four stepchildren, James, Mary, Zachariah and Jennie Deck, faithfully filling the place of mother to them. After Mr. Deck's death she moved near Penfield, where she had lived up to the time of her death, which occurred July 16, 1907 at the home of her daughter Mrs. George Lynn. She was nearly 70 yrs. old. In the 1880 census, the children listed were all listed as Deck and they were not. Mary Deck (Hezekiah & margaret's) age 16. Edwin Deck - should be Johnson - James & Anna's Jane Deck - Hezekiah & Margaret's (name is Sarah Jane) James Deck - should be Johnson - James & Anna's Jesse Deck - Hezekiah & Anna's Anna Deck - Hezekiah & Anna's Emma Deck - Hezekiah & Anna's (name is Emma Pearl - she went by Pearl According to the 1860 census and 1870 census - J.W. is listed that would be James William b. 1854 and d. 1914 John is listed and he was born 1860 and d. 1861. There is a Jacob Deck b.1856 d. 1856, also According to ancestry, there are other children, an Emily and Glen John. According to Anna's obit there were no other children for her & Hezekiah other than those listed. I also would like to find out about Nettie & Albert and there families. One last thing, when GreatGrandfather John Barnum Johnson died in his obit is listed two sisters Jane Davison, Rossville and Jennie Long, Orange California. I assume these are halfsisters and Jane, I figured is Sarah Jane, but I have seen nothing of Jennie, only what is listed in Anna's and her son John Johnson's obit.
