Sep 1867--IA). The couple came to Ridge Farm, Elwood Twp., Vermilion Co. sometime before 1920 from Franklin Co., IA. They are in the 1930 census. It is likely they are buried in Pilot Grove Cemetery, to the east of Ridge Farm. The Appleby's had at least two children: Ralph, b. 1901 and Lucille, b. 1904.
