My Grandpa is William James Porter, son of William Leeks Porter Jr. I've been spending the last year (off and on) trying to find William's Bio-dad. I know that George Bennett (sp?) was a good man, and treated William like his own son (so said my grandfather before he passed away) but I've always wanted to know who "Leeks" is. If my last name should have been Leeks, I'd kinda like to know who my Great x3 grandfather was. Do you have any info on him at all?
