Robert was born March 6, 1790 or 1792 in Ireland. He died in Vermilion County, Illinois and some have said he is buried in the Old Partlow Cemetery. I have not been able to confirm he is buried there. I do not have an obituary or any articles on him or his family. Mary Courtney was born May 25, 1794 in Morgantown, Monogalia County, West Virginia and died in Vermilion County, Illinois August 27, 1860. I have not been told she is also buried in the Old Partlow Cemetery; but I would bet that she is buried there. My grandfather passed down 12 names of their children (and I think I have an additional child from the census records). I descend their Sarah Isabel Courtney who married Isaac Briggs.
