My wife's family line is Sarah Elizabeth Stearns, daughter of Seneca Stearns married William H. Littell, son of Winant Winans Littell. The Stearns came from Vermont(?)but may have stopped along the way in Ohio. Winans Littell's family was from New jersey, coming to Illinois by Ohio (Butler County).
