    1. Re: [ILVERMIL] CLARK, James born in 1899--Volunteer Look up in 1930 census
    2. I belong to Ancestry.com so checked their indexes in various ways for your James Clark b 1899 but I couldn't pin down due to so many in Illinois. I did find his father on 1930 census: Vermilion Co., IL, Georgetown Twp., ED46, April 11-12, Sheet 8A, DW174, FM176 Chapman T. Clark - head, owns home value of $2K, age 81, widower, b WV, parents b WV, House Carpenter, non-veteran Per Deaths on the online Illinois Statewide Databases: http://www.sos.state.il.us/departments/archives/databases.html Chapman T. Clark, d 26 May 1934 in Vermilion County, Catlin Twp. I found three James Clarks for Illinois on SSDI born in 1899 that might fit: 1 - b 22 Jan 1899 - d Aug 1972, Residence: Chicago, Cook Co 2 - b 23 Sep 1899 - d Aug 1965, Residence: Moline, Rock Island Co. 3 - b 14 Jan 1899 - d Apr 1972, Residence: Wauconda, Lake Co. My suggestion would be to write to library [which is what you have done for Ella] but request copies of obituaries for both - Chapman and Ella since you have exact death dates. The obits should state where they were buried and perhaps where their children were living. Good luck, Shirley in OH In a message dated 2/9/2005 5:32:50 PM Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: Does anyone have access to the 1930 census? I have access via Heritage Quest however not all of 1930 has been indexed. Would be happy to trade a look-up for someone prior to 1930. We are seeking the whereabouts of James CLARK born in 1899 (he was born in West VA however might not indicate that State due to being the son of a second marriage). His parents Chapman Taylor CLARK and Ella CURTIS MCGREER CLARK were born born in West VA. Resided 25 plus years in Westville area of Illinois (also Georgetown). James CLARK might have worked for the hospital located in Rock Island County (fits the age tho not the birthplace for the 1920 census). Would appreciate any information: wife and children etc Could be buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Danville, Illinois where his parents are buried. Thank you Judy Steve DAHLBERG (great-great grandson of Chapman Taylor CLARK via his first wife)
