Funeral Services for William Ernest Hanley, 78 are pending at the Civic Center Chapel of Wilson & Dratzer Mortuaries. Mr. Hanley, a native of Illinois died yesterday (Dec 19) at a Yountville Hospital. A retired Standard Oil employee, the machinist lived at 12437 San Pablo Ave., Richmond. The World War I Army veteran was a member of the Baptist Church of Danville, IL, and of the American Legion Post at Yountville. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Hanley of Richmond, Bryce (Betty Bryce dau) of Davis and Mrs. Sue Devine of Richmond,; sons, Robert Hanley of Seattle WA, Richard Hanley of Haywood, and Joseph Hanley of Thailand; sisters, Mrs. Jane Allison of Catlin IL, Mrs. Ethel Mockbee of Potomac IL, Mrs. Dessie Tuttle of Danville IL; brother George Phipps of Chicago, IL, and by 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
