Author: Stremmel73 Surnames: Smith, Osborn Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.illinois.counties.vermilion/4148.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello. I know you posted this many years ago, but I was wondering if you had discovered a lot of information through your search. William's wife, Lydia, is the sister of my great great grandmother Lucinda (Osborn) Webb. Solomon and Dicy (Smith) Osborn are, of course, my great great great grandparents. It is interesting how many Smiths are intertwined in this family. Dicy's maiden name is Smith. Lydia Osborn married a Smith. Dicy and Solomon had a daughter "Dicy" or "Dicey" who married Peter Smith. It is likely there are more. Please make another post if you have discovered more. It seems much of the family went on to settle in McDonough County, Illinois.
