Seeking complete dates for Nathaniel J Henderson and his second wife, Cyrene Morgan. They married in Vermilion co., Illinois on 2 Jan 1853. Cyrene was the dau. of Zackquill and Mary Morgan. I have a family of HENDERSONs who came to Putnam Co around 1858, then to Vermilion/Ford Cos around 1867. The father was Alexander b.1881 Westmoreland Co, PA. He married Mary LANTZ of Sumit Co, OH. After farming in OH for about 15 yrs, the famliy moved to IL. One son, John Henderson, is written in the Portrait and Biographical Record of Ford CO, 1892. Hi Kurt Are you putting together a history on the 125th of each man? Do you plan to publish it when you are done? What I have on Eugenious Loveall is that his parents were David and Rebecca Loveall. David was born in PA about 1795 and Rebecca was born in VA about1797. In the 1850 census Vermilion county, IL Eugenious was 25 and listed as born in VA., so was born about 1825. Eugenious died !0 April 1863 in Nashville, TN of typhoid fever while with Co. D 125th Reg. IL INF. He married Rosella Melvina Bostwick (my great grandfather Ruloff's sister) 2 July 1860, Vermilion Co., IL. Rosella was born 25 March 1839, the daughter of Hiram And Sarah Willison Bostwick. Rosella remarried 11 Sept. 1873 Verm. Co. IL to James Trosper. He was in Co. K 125 Reg. IL INF. Seven children born to them. She died 4 Nov.1918 at Ridgefarm, IL Eugenious and Rosella had three only children that I know of: Sarah Jane b. 8 Nov 1860 Verm. Co., IL, ma. Alexander Johnson; David L. b. 23 Nov 1862, Verm. Co., IL, d. 18 Sept. 1934, ma. Lydia Bostwick 10 Sept 1887(his cousin); and William E. b. 10 May 1863, Verm Co., IL . If you have more questions please ask. I really don't know what more information you would like to have on Eugenious Loveall. This is just the information I had close at hand.
