    3. HI....Thank you for responding so quickly. I believe that I am on the right track in researching the Joseph Jackson/Thomas Jackson families in Vermillion COunty. In the the 1840 census, THomas Jackson was listed as having 3 male children under 5, 3 male children 5-10, and 1 female child 10-15(this could be Malinda Jackson, who was born in 1832. It also lists a male 30-40....Thomas was 37. It lists a female 20-30.....this could be Elizabeth. It looks like you have a great deal more information than I.....I thank you for your input. 1. Re: [ILVERMIL] Cemetery location
    2. Hello, The Humphrey-Stewart Cemetery, also known as Thurman, Swisher, and Mt. Pleasant, is located in Blount Township (T 20 N - R 12-11 W) in Section 12 on road 1450 E and 2350 N. The area is in Finley's Woods, in the old town of Johnsonville and lies some 100 yards west of the intersection along the south side of Finley's Lane. From Danville, take Denmark Road about 3 miles north. The cemetery was still fenced as late as the 1920s. Hope this helps. Daryl Bruner LYRAD22@aol.com

Greetings, According to Family TreeMaker, Achilles MARTIN is my 1st cousin, 4x removed, (whatever that means). Achilles MORGAN, my 4th great grandfather was the father of Mary MORGAN (and my ggg grandmother, Elizabeth W. MORGAN). I have just recently gotten this information from an on-line "cousin". Was Margaret MORGAN related in any way to Mary MORGAN? I don't actually have the info you want on Hayden MARTIN. Was he your gg grandfather? I have a little info on some of the MORGANS if you are interested. I also would be interested in the info you are seeking on the MARTIN's. I also had another "Martin" connected to my family. My grandaunt, Dalta Clifton married a MARTIN her 1st marriage. Sorry I couldn't have been of some more immediate help. 3. Hello, I have some info on Achilles but not extending down to his sons. I know he was in the 25th Illinois Infantry and he was a brother in law to George Dillon who had married his sister Desdamona Martin. George called him "Ack". Ack was wounded at the battle of Chickamauga I believe. I have a picture of Achilles that I acquired from the Military Historical Institute in Pennsylvania. I may have some other stuff I will need to look. I am writing a book on George Dillon and so I know a bit about the Martin family. 1. [ILVERMIL] Surnames: Krueger, Ringler, Seals, Reynolds
    2. Michele Chavez
    3. Hi Everyone, I recently unsubscribed and am now resubscribing due to a change in e-mail address. So, I'm back to repost my Vermilion County surname interests: KRUEGER -- starting with Christian b. 1844 somewhere in East Prussia (?) He married Maria RINGLER in 1875 and they lived in Danville. RINGLER -- beginning with Maria b. 1850 in Hesse-Darmstadt. She married Christian KRUEGER. She had brothers Daniel b. 1848, Jacob b. 1854, and George b. 1860. SEALS -- starting with Dawson SEALS b. 1802 in North Carolina, who came to Vermilion County abt 1854 when his son Kennedy (aka Canady, Canada, Canader) bought land near Rossville. Dawson died in 1867. REYNOLDS -- beginning with the 3 REYNOLDS brothers who came from Wimbish, Essex, England to Rossville abt 1857. They were Samuel, Philip, and Thomas REYNOLDS. I've found quite a few of the SEALS and REYNOLDS, though always looking for more, but the KRUEGERs and the RINGLERs are elusive and I don't know much about them at all. Michele

And, boy, is it great! I just uploaded and it only took a few minutes. You have the option to include "more about" notes or not, you can include your sources or not, you can "clean" the info on your living folks---many options available. First, you need to set up an account, so you can upload your file, and later, to edit it (which I just did, also). Then, send it up! So easy and so fast. It took HOURS to send it to the Family Tree Maker site. Just minutes at RootsWeb, and it's much more complete. Also, you can add "post-ems" to anyone's data, and you can be notified when someone adds a post-em to yours, so that you can connect. This is brand new, just got started yesterday, I think. There may be a few bugs yet, but there's a message board where the fellow taking care of the GEDs is posting responses to the suggestions. And he is fast. Here's the URL: http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/ ~~~~~~~~~ Even if you don't upload your info, it is a nice search site. As more gedcoms are submitted, there will be more data to search.
